Welcome to the Web Page of the Department of Public Finance!

The department was founded in 1983 in order to provide human resource to the private and public sectors in the field of public finance. There are four subfields at the department: Theory of Public Finance, Fiscal Economics, Fiscal Law, and Budgeting and Fiscal Planning. Courses at the department are lectured by 3 professors, 2 associate professors, an assistant professor and 6 instructors with the Ph. D. degree, and by the visiting experts of the Ministry of Finance. There are 22 research assistants as candidates of Master's and Ph. D. degrees. The department executes Master's (thesis and non-thesis) and Ph. D. programs by the Graduate School of Social Sciences at the Hacettepe University.
